Jennifer Cunningham has built an elaborate body of work in hair and make-up design. Merging an intuitive eye for unique detail with a broad aesthetic, Jennifer’s adaptive talents have earned her a long list of devoted clients across several mediums. Her work has graced the pages of Vanity Fair, Vogue, Glamour, Cosmopolitan, Interview and Flaunt Magazines; her designs have also appeared in national advertising campaigns for Armani Jeans, Nike, Puma, Levi’s, Motorola and Pier 1 Imports. Jennifer has brought her expertise to music videos for various artists and their styles, from the Black Eyed Peas to Alanis Morissette, Jay-Z to Nelly Furtado. Jennifer has worked with some of the industry’s most acclaimed directors, including David LaChapelle, Floria Sigismondi, Mike Mills and Brian Beletic.

Jennifer’s penchant for fashion took root as a child as she watched her mother’s dramatic transformations take place in the mirror each day. She was able to realize her calling at a young age, and seek out the best possible training and experience. She enrolled at the Vidal Sassoon Academy in Los Angeles, and went on to fine-tune her craft working with top hairdressers in New York and Los Angeles.

Realizing her unique talent and creativity, Make Up For Ever’s SoHo Professional Boutique hired Jennifer as a permanent team member. Here, she expanded her repertoire into make-up design, and began working alongside top make-up artists like Dick Page, Mark Carrasquillo and Joanne Gaire. She worked on everything from editorial fashion shoots to runway shows, including NY Fashion Week. Before long, she was steadily contracted on special high profile projects, such as conceptual body painting for Dolce & Gabbana and Henri Bendel, and was given the reigns as key make-up artist for many designers at LA Fashion Week.

Continuing to share her passion and vision with other creative professionals is of utmost importance to Jennifer. She finds herself driven by the collaborative process, and sees every project as an opportunity to inspire a more creative side of beauty and awaken a new aesthetic vision.
